LOS PADRES FOOTBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION
MISSION STATEMENT

The Los Padres Football Officials Association (LPFOA) is an Exempt Non-Profit Organization 501(c)(3) under the Nonprofit Mutual Benefits Corporation Law.  The specific purpose of the LPFOA is to provide educational and instructional courses for individual officials with regard to the mechanics and rules of the sport of high school football.

The objectives of the LPFOA are:

I. 

To uphold, encourage, and promote high ethical standards among the institutions, spectators, participants, coaches and officials involved in high school football.

II. 

To provide a high-quality instructional program in training, preparation and development of football officials.

III. 

To encourage a thorough knowledge of National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules and mechanics among persons involved in high school football.

IV. 

To promote good fellowship among its members and provide benevolent assistance in extraordinary cases within the membership.

It is the policy of the Los Padres Football Officials Association to evaluate and classify officials and assign games without regard to gender, race, age, national origin, religion or any other factor unrelated to the ability to perform officiating duties.
